Grilled Beer Brats with Kraut

I made this for my son’s 21st birthday bonfire, which included a dozen buddies. The kraut topping flavors are fabulous.

Ingreadient :
  • 6 bacon strips, chopped
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 medium apple, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 can (14 ounces) sauerkraut, rinsed and well drained
  • 3 tablespoons spicy brown mustard
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 12 uncooked bratwurst links
  • 1 bottle (12 ounces) dark beer
  • 12 hoagie buns, split
Direction :
